The 30th P.A.R.K. Conference
Children's first encounter with the English language should be interesting, engaging, but above all diverse in a way that respects the uniqueness of each learner. This workshop will focus on linking English language teaching to Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, thus highlighting the possibility of preparing English lessons in a way that helps to sustain the attention of individual learners and consolidate new knowledge.
The main aim of this workshop will be to show that English teaching can take into account different learning styles - not only verbal, but also musical, logical-mathematical, visual, kinesthetic, etc. Applying this concept in English language teaching will help teachers show students different ways of learning, but most importantly, it will allow them to experience success and motivate them to learn foreign languages.
