Conversation Classes Made Easy

Have you ever been asked to teach a conversation class with no book or syllabus? There aren't many lessons which sound so easy on the surface but are tricky to do successfully. After all, you can't make small talk and chat about the weather for fifteen 90-minute lessons! This session looks at some interesting topics, varied activity types and some dos and don'ts for keeping your students interested and avoiding those awkward silences.

Steve Humphrey is a senior teacher at PARK school with 21 years of experience. He has worked in several countries, including Poland, China, Italy and Ukraine, and has extensive experience of exam preparation, general English and business English classes. He currently teaches several conversation classes.
