In communicative classrooms, organising learners into pairs and groups for collaborative work is essential but not always easy to implement, and the outcomes may not necessarily be effective. This presentation will help you to understand what meaningful collaboration among learners is, and we will do this by looking at why collaboration is so important, and how we can develop it with teenagers. There will be opportunities to see how Cambridge Own It! encourages and develops learners’ collaboration in the language classroom.
