In my hands-on session, I will focus on building lessons around the topics that our students are familiar with. I will show the importance of working with course materials that revolve around t(w)eenagers' daily life and interests.

I'll also provide you with a bunch of activities that help create links between the lesson content and real-life experience, boost students' enthusiasm for learning and tackle the challenge of mixed-ability classes.

Ma?gorzata is a freelance English language teacher and a teacher trainer for Macmillan Education. Currently based in Hamburg, she works online full-time with all age groups, from primary to adult, teaching both general English and exam courses. As a trainer, she specialises in topics such as mixed-ability classes, developing cognitive skills in YL classroom and designing low-prep yet fun and efficient lessons.
