Teachers are experts in a wide range of skills. However, these skills are often undervalued, under appreciated, and underpaid. Is there a promised land where we can do what we love, and be fairly remunerated for it? I believe so. The opportunities for teachers in the corporate world are vast and largely untapped. This talk will outline a path for teachers to transition from classroom to boardroom.
Gerhard Symons is a native Londoner. After a career in the pharmaceutical industry, he moved to the Czech Republic in 2015. He teaches English in the corporate world and runs business workshops for clients. He studied Russian literature at UCL, and biotechnology at Cambridge.
