Improving student motivation, engagement, wellbeing, social awareness and academic performance using talking, discussion, curiosity and problem-solving approaches in the classroom. 

This session is based on cognitive and social psychology, deep processing and developing meaningful student engagement in the classroom. The sessions are run by John Hepburn, Educational Psychologist and company director of EdPsychs Ltd. 

In session one we:

  • Look at how we can improve student engagement, connection and motivation using a variety of activities
  • Develop active listening and questioning skills to develop better and deeper processing and more enduring learning 
  • look at how we can integrate these activities and approaches these into lessons and independent learning
