Do you use an inductive or deductive approach when teaching grammar? How effective is it to sometimes use grammar translation when it comes to discussing differences? How much time do you spend on lexical grammar in the classroom? Are you still a PPP type of teacher when it comes to tenses, or do you prefer a more immersive lesson?
In this session we’ll discuss the many different ways you can present grammar in the classroom and talk about the joys of being an eclectic grammar teacher using examples from Gateway to the World, Maturita Edition, the secondary school book from Macmillan.
